LONG DAY, EASY RIDE

I picked up this stray kitty in Houston. Well, it just kind of followed my Jeep Liberty home.

I had to lie to U-Haul to get them to rent me the carrier. I told them the Cougar had no engine and tranny and I would take full responsibility for the use of their carrier. I signed a waiver for them. It was supposed to be not recommended.

That rating was derived from the fact that I was pulling a thousand pounds more than my Jeep could tow and 3 thousand pounds more than their catalog knew I could tow.

Other than the limitation of returning home from Houston without running the A/C to keep the temp normal, the Jeep ran flawlessly. I was very impressed. It towed 6,000 lbs almost 300 miles with out flinching. The load was in total control the whole time.
