Anyone who has read this blog knows I believe wealth does not make you happy, or strong, sex does. We know abject poverty makes you sick and miserable. We also know arms proliferation is universally accepted as one of the worst problems the world has ever faced. Evidence of this litters our society like the smashed insect entrails on the grill of Pan American transport trailers delivering cannabis from Nicaragua. Arms proliferation leads to death, wars, famine, disease, pollution, fear, stress, and waste.  What we need is more PEACE and charity!  Porn for Peace tries to make strides in both of these areas.  I support it and their causes.  Check them out and see if you don't concur. 
Clarification: sex because your hungry is bad, being proud of your body and using it in artistic ways to end killing, and war is good.

FREE PEACE LESSONS!

thinking peace has a great post today by Michael Sky called Teaching Peace (no permalink yet). The site references content from the UN Peace Education site (that apparently runs on a battery operated 286 server trying to multitask Pi to infinity). Michael sums it up in just a few pertinent words - no batteries required.

The whole article is a compelling read. The UN site seems worth a visit but it's like pulling teeth getting that machine to respond. It seems to me that PEACE ought to be the priority and getting to peace education should be mandatory at this point in history.

I'm very confused about how the Iraq "Study" Group (who look like many of the same faces in Vietnam, and Iran-Contra) is considered authoritative. It is all of our duties to make peace happen. Leaving it up to those guys hasn't gotten us anywhere.

I just heard from Randi about Malachi Ritscher's act of setting himself on fire in the middle of a Chicago freeway as a war protest. I was at work needing to scream so I just blogged as a release.

There is a video but it hasn't been released. I put up a post with an image here last time this happened.

I am STILL fuming over the fact that the MSM has been trying to kill the story. As if his protest doesn't matter or it is just some random act of a depressed individual.

FUCK THE NEWS.

When people aren't even allowed to speak... What are we supposed to do? Put up with this BULL SHIT?
